I. Volunteering Team

From September 13 to October 12, 2023, our first team of 45 volunteers from Portugal, Morocco, Georgia, North Macedonia, and Türkiye came together in Muş, Türkiye, for a transformative month of action and collaboration.

Highlights of Their Journey:

• Community Engagement: Weekly visits to families, hospitals, and local organizations.
• Learning & Growth: Daily preparation sessions, Turkish language classes, and end-of-day reflections to enhance skills and foster cultural exchange.
• Oncology Days Preparation: Active involvement in planning for the 10th International Oncology Days through working groups.

This team's dedication not only strengthened local ties but also empowered them as change-makers, leaving a lasting impact on the community and themselves.
