III. Volunteering Team

From August 12 to September 11, 2024, 45 passionate volunteers from Portugal, Morocco, Georgia, North Macedonia, and Türkiye joined forces in Muş, Türkiye, to create meaningful change. This diverse and dynamic group brought energy, ideas, and compassion to the local community, leaving a lasting impact through their dedication and teamwork.

What They Achieved:

• Strengthening Local Ties: Regular visits to families, hospitals, and organizations brought support, understanding, and hope to the community.
• Cultural Exchange: Weekly Turkish language classes and shared experiences deepened cross-cultural connections.
• Oncology Awareness: Collaborated on preparations for the 11th International Oncology Days, contributing to impactful initiatives that raise awareness and support cancer patients.
• Personal Growth: Reflection sessions and weekly reviews empowered volunteers to learn, adapt, and grow both individually and as a team.
