IV. Volunteering Team

From August 23 to September 22, 2024, the fourth team of 45 volunteers dedicated their time and energy to creating a positive impact in Muş, Türkiye. This dynamic group, drawn from various backgrounds, worked tirelessly to support local communities and further the mission of the project.

Highlights of Their Work:

• Community Engagement: Volunteers visited families, hospitals, and local organizations weekly, offering support and building meaningful connections.
• Cultural Exchange: Weekly Turkish classes helped deepen cultural understanding and foster integration.
• Oncology Awareness: The team played a vital role in follow-up sessions and awareness-raising activities for the 11th International Oncology Days, including impactful high school sessions.
• Collaboration & Planning: Weekly planners and daily preparation sessions ensured effective teamwork and smooth execution of activities.
• Personal Growth: Daily reflection sessions allowed volunteers to evaluate their experiences, share insights, and grow both personally and professionally.

This final group of the project brought the initiative to a powerful conclusion, showcasing the strength of youth collaboration in building solidarity and resilience. Their dedication and efforts left a lasting impression on the community and reinforced the importance of collective action.
